BLUE LACE AGATE BRACELET (Delphina)

Delphina is Greek, meaning "Woman from Delphi". Delphi was a city in Ancient Greece, which possibly was derived from 'Dolphin' of the Blue Seas. Blue lace Agate was found in the isolated African desert, and was first uncovered in the early 1960's by an American prospector, George Swanson, who lived in Springbok, South Africa. The name, "blue lace" because of the blue, lavender laced color. This is a very scarce semi-precious gemstone, and these gorgeous agates are found in vein deposits with dolomite in the district of Karasburg, Namibia. The inspiration and beauty of these gemstones come from the soothing blue color that I refer to in my own description, Delphina, from Dolphin of the Blue Seas. The Delphina Designer Bracelet was created with high quality Blue Lace Agate faceted oval gemstone, Bali Sterling Silver, 925 Sterling Silver coiled beads hand-crafted by me, Karen Hill Tribes Sterling Silver and illuminating, excellent quality, faceted Iolite gemstones. The closure is a shiny Sterling Silver toggle clasp from the Karen Hill Tribes, and has some Sterling scroll work, like the matching hand-crafted beads.
