PERIDOT GEMSTONE BRACELET (Nadia)

Peridot is the birthstone of August and signifies joy and happiness in marriage. Peridot is known to have been mined by the Egyptians over three thousand years ago. Today, it is mined in Brazil, Tanzania, Pakistan, and Mexico. The word peridot, although said to be French, may get it's origins from the Arabic word faridat, meaning gem. Olivine is another word used by mineralogists because of it's olive color. Peridot, a variety of chrysolite, is a light to olive green, moderately hard, transparent mineral that is cut and graded as gemstones.
The inspiration for the Nadia Designer Bracelet came from the Birthstone Month of August, but can be worn all year long, and with every wardrobe. Oval faceted and smooth round Peridot gemstones, alluring Designer Lampwork by Lynn Nurge, 925 Sterling Silver beads, Bali Sterling Silver beads, and the closure of the Designer Bracelet, is a shimmering Sterling Silver toggle clasp from the Karen Hill Tribes. A pretty Peridot charm dangles from the clasp along with a Sterling Silver flower from the Hill Tribes.
